This is a 1966 chevelle ss that Toby purchased this year for $6500. This car was purchased in his childhood home town in New Mexico.

"I recall as a youngster hearing this car drive by my family’s home (it ran Purple Hornies) and I would run outside too see it pass by. I always lusted over this car and now I own it.! Yeah!!"

This car is an original ss 396 138 car; although the original owners installed a 327 small block which is what is in it now. Too bad it is missing the original engine. It still has the original Muncie four speed and Posi rear though.

Currently he is building a 350 4-bolt small block. He had the block stroked and clearanced with an all new Eagle rotating assembly and .060 over flat top pistons.

He plans on installing four wheel disc brakes, new wiring system, front-end work and painting it either the original Aztec bronze or Tuxedo black.
